Well, I made a 16 minute video and it imported fine to imovie and I was able to edit it. I’ve discovered that I cannot revert to earlier versions of the app because the iMovie libraries are now updated to only be recognized by this version. I’ve even tried opening the app while holding down Option-Command and deleting the Preferences. I can’t seem to get it to do this after working on a project. To solve this, I have to quit/force quit the app and with no other apps loaded, re-enter the app and immediately go to the Export file command and ask for it to export and then the app appears to operate properly with a quick solid circle and filling up of the circle, indicating that it’s generating/rendering the video for export. When I ask the program to export File video, the exporting circle goes solid and doesn’t “fill up” right away (as it should) and while it says it’s exporting, for minutes nothing happens.
